Terms & Conditions

Welcome to just.work, a software platform supporting individuals committed to changing the way humans coordinate work, capital, and relationships; where power shifts from being held by a collection of individuals to a collection of rules.  

When you engage in activities on the platform, you agree to play by a set of rules specified in the document as amended from time to time by a process of Due Governance. Platform participation indicates agreement to be bound by the grants and constraints authority specified herein.  

Who We Are

We are a networking platform for Purpose Agents. Our mission is to connect Purpose Agents regionally and globally while enabling them to be more productive and successful.To achieve our Purpose we provide services to help individuals to find and connect with other like-purposed individuals and/or affiliated businesses, promote community interaction by allowing users to release news, exchange ideas, identify opportunities, maintain photo galleries, calendars, events and invitations using public or private settings.

Scope and Intent

When you use just.work, you are entering into a legal agreement and you agree to all of these terms. You also agree to our Privacy Policy, which covers how we collect, use, share, and store your personal information. You agree that by registering on just.work, or by using our website, including our mobile applications, or other information provided as part of just.work services (collectively "just.work" or the "Services"), you are entering into a legally binding agreement with PowerShift People, LLC.  If you are using just.work on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you are nevertheless individually bound by this Agreement even if your company has a separate agreement with us. If you do not want to register an account and become a just.work Member, do not enter into this Agreement, do NOT click "Join Now" and do not access, view, download or otherwise use any just.work webpage, information or services. By clicking "Join Now" (or similar), you acknowledge that you have read and understood the terms and conditions of this Agreement and that you agree to be bound by all of its provisions. By clicking "Join Now," you also consent to use electronic signatures and acknowledge your click of the "Join Now" button as one. Please note that the just.work User Agreement and Privacy Policy are also collectively referred to as just.work's "Terms of Service".

Your Obligations

Applicable laws and this Agreement

  • You will follow the law and just.work's rules.

  • You must comply with all applicable laws and this Agreement, as may be amended from time to time with or without advance notice.

License and warranty for your submissions to just.work

  • You will follow the law and just.work's rules.

  • You own the information you post on just.work under this Agreement and control how it is shared, and can delete it at any time. Additionally, you grant just.work a nonexclusive, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual, unlimited, assignable, sub-licensable, royalty-free right to us to copy, prepare derivative works of, improve, distribute, publish, remove, retain, add, process, analyze, use and commercialize, in any way now known or in the future discovered, any information you provide, directly or indirectly to just.work, including, but not limited to, any user generated content, ideas, concepts, techniques and/or data to the services, you submit to just.work, without any further consent, notice and/or compensation to you or to any third parties. Any information you submit to us is at your own risk of loss. By providing information to us, you represent and warrant that you are entitled to submit the information and that the information is accurate, not confidential, and not in violation of any contractual restrictions or other third party rights. It is your responsibility to keep your just.work profile information accurate and updated.

Service Eligibility

You are eligible to enter into this contract if you meet the following criteria:

  • "Minimum Age" requirements. "Minimum Age" means 18 years old. However, if applicable country law requires that you must be older than 18 for just.work to lawfully provide the Services to you (including the collection, storage and use of your information in accordance with our privacy policy) then the Minimum Age would be such older age.

  • Are not currently restricted from the Services, or not otherwise prohibited from having a just.work account

  • Are not a competitor of just.work or are not using the Services for reasons that are in competition with just.work

  • Will not use a false community name or seek to defraud others on just.work

  • Have full power and authority to enter into this Agreement and doing so will not violate any other agreement to which you are a party

  • Will not violate any rights of just.work or third party, including intellectual property rights such as copyright or trademark rights

  • Agree to provide at your cost all equipment, software, mobile access, and internet access necessary to use the Services

  • The information you provide is truthful

Participation by Communities

  • just.work reserves the right to refuse participation to any organization, including nonprofits and schools, at any time in its sole discretion.

  • By using the Services and creating a community you represent and warrant that you: 1) have the right to enter into and perform this agreement with just.work including, but not limited to, the consent of the community to use its name and/or logo, and 2) that the information submitted is true, complete and current. By participating in the Services, you grant just.work a worldwide right to: 1) display your listing on our Site; 2) promote your organization as part of the Services online, in print and any other media; and 3) display your trademark, logo, slogans and other source or business identifiers as you provide to just.work in promotion of your organization.

  • just.work grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license during your participation in the Services to use the Services names and logos on your site, in print and other media

  • You may terminate your relationship with just.work and our right to use your name and logo at any time by giving written notice and just.work will cease all such use. just.work acknowledges that you retain all right, title, and interest in and to your name and logo and reserves all rights not expressly granted.

  • just.work may terminate this agreement or remove your listing from the Site at any time for any reason. Upon receipt of written notice of termination from just.work, you must promptly remove the logo and disable the links from your site to the Services.

  • For revenue earned and collected from qualifying usage on just.work, Communities will receive payments, through just.work approved banking partners.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, just.work shall not be liable for any payment based on any amounts that result from the use of a bot, automated program or similar device, as reasonably determined by just.work, including without limitation through any clicks or impressions originating from your IP addresses or computers under your control.

  • Communities agree to pay all applicable taxes or charges imposed by any government entity in connection with their participation in the Program. just.work may change its pricing and/or payment structure at any time. If you dispute any payment, you must notify just.work in writing within thirty (30) days of any such payment; failure to so notify just.work shall result in the waiver by you of any claim relating to any such disputed payment. Payment shall be calculated solely based on records maintained by just.work. No other measurements or statistics of any kind shall be accepted by just.work or have any effect under this Agreement.

Community Administration

  • Each Community may have one or more individuals who are responsible for overseeing the use of and monitoring of the content posted to such Community (the "Community Administrator")

    • From time to time, Users may be asked to confirm their account on the Community

    • If such account is not reconfirmed, the account is removed. Once a User is removed from a Community, the content of that User remains on the Community and is the sole property of that Community.

  • Users may delete their own User Content from the Community, so long as they are a Member of that Community.

  • Community Administrators may delete the User Content of one or more Users in their Community.

  • A Community may be designated:

    • As open to any just.work User (a "Public Community ") or

    • A Community may be limited to certain Users with membership which may be subject to the approval of the Community Administrator (a "Private Community ").

  • A Community Administrator may add or remove Users from that particular Community.

  • User Content posted within a Private Community is owned by that Community.

Your Membership

The profile you create on just.work will become part of just.work and except for the information that you license to us is owned by just.work. However, between you and others, your account belongs to you. You agree to: (1) keep your password secure and confidential; (2) not permit others to use your account; (3) not use other's accounts; (4) not sell, trade, or transfer your just.work account to another party; and (5) not charge anyone for access to any portion of just.work, or any information therein. Further, you are responsible for anything that happens through your account until you close down your account or prove that your account security was compromised due to no fault of your own. To close your account, please visit just.work's Help Center.

Dealings with advertisers

Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers found on or through the Services, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such advertiser. You agree that just.work shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such advertisers on the Services.

Notification of acts contrary to this agreement

If you think you have to breach this Agreement, you will let us know beforehand. If you believe that you are entitled or obligated to act contrary to this Agreement under any mandatory law, you agree to provide us with detailed and substantiated explanation of your reasons in writing at least 30 days before you act contrary to this Agreement, to allow us to assess whether we may, at our sole discretion, provide an alternative remedy for the situation, though we are under no obligation to do so.

just.work Applications

This Agreement applies to mobile applications as well. Also, you agree certain additional information can be shared with us. just.work may offer the Services through applications built using just.work's platform. just.work Applications are distinct from third party Platform Applications. If you use a just.work Application or interact with a website that has deployed a plug in, you agree that information about you and your use of the Services, including, but not limited to, your device, your mobile carrier, your internet access provider, your physical location, or web pages containing just.work plug ins that load in your browser may be communicated to us. Further, by importing any of your just.work data through the just.work Application, you represent that you have authority to share the transferred data with your mobile carrier or other access provider. In the event you change or deactivate your mobile account, you must promptly update your just.work account information to ensure that your messages are not sent to the person that acquires your old number and failure to do so is your responsibility. You acknowledge you are responsible for all charges and necessary permissions related to accessing just.work through your mobile access provider. Therefore, you should check with your provider to find out if the Services are available and the terms for these services for your specific mobile devices. Finally, by using any downloadable application to enable your use of the Services, you are explicitly confirming your acceptance of the terms of the End User License Agreement associated with the application provided at download or installation, or as may be updated from time to time.

User-to-User Communication and Sharing

When you share information, others can see, copy and use that information. just.work allows users to post your observations and comments on designated topics. just.work also enables sharing of information by allowing users to post updates, including links to news articles and/or external websites. just.work, in its sole discretion, may remove content if the content violates this Agreement or others' intellectual property rights. Please note that in just.work your posts and information you share may be seen and used by other Members, and just.work cannot guarantee that other Members will not use the ideas and information that you share on just.work. Therefore, if you have an idea or information that you would like to keep confidential or don't want others to use, or that is subject to third party rights that may be infringed by your sharing it, do not post it to anywhere on just.work. just.work IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANOTHER'S MISUSE OR MISAPPROPRIATION OF ANY CONTENT OR INFORMATION YOU POST ON just.work.

Privacy

You are okay with us collecting, using, storing, and disclosing information about you in keeping with our Privacy Policy. You should carefully read our full Privacy Policy before using just.work as it is hereby incorporated into this Agreement by reference, and governs our treatment of any information, including personally identifiable information you submit to us. Please note that certain information, statements, data, and content (such as photographs) which you may submit to just.work, or Communities you choose to join might, or are likely to, reveal your gender, ethnic origin, nationality, age, and/or other personal information about you. You acknowledge that your submission of any information, statements, data, and content to us is voluntary on your part and that just.work may process such information, within the terms of the Privacy Policy.

Export Control

Your use of just.work services, including our software, is subject to export and re-export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR") maintained by the United States Department of Commerce and sanctions programs maintained by the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control. You shall not - directly or indirectly - sell, export, re-export, transfer, divert, or otherwise dispose of any software or service to any end-user without obtaining the required authorizations from the appropriate government authorities. You also warrant that you are not prohibited from receiving US origin products, including services or software.

Contributions to just.work

By submitting ideas, suggestions, ("Contributions") to just.work, you acknowledge and agree that: (a) your Contributions do not contain confidential or proprietary information; (b) just.work is not under any obligation of confidentiality, express or implied, with respect to the Contributions; (c) just.work shall be entitled to use or disclose (or choose not to use or disclose) such Contributions for any purpose, in any way, in any media worldwide; (d) just.work may have something similar to the Contributions already under consideration or in development; (e) you irrevocably non-exclusively license to just.work rights to use your Contributions; and (f) you are not entitled to any compensation or reimbursement of any kind from just.work under any circumstances.

TRANSLATION

We may translate these Terms into other languages for your convenience. Nevertheless, the English version governs your relationship with just.work, and any inconsistencies among the different versions will be resolved in favor of the English version.

Your Rights

If you follow this agreement, we grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, non-assignable, non-sublicensable license and right to access just.work and use just.work services, through a generally available web browser, mobile device or just.work authorized application (but not through scraping, spidering, crawling or other technology or software used to access data without the express written consent of just.work or its Members), to view information and use the Services that we provide on just.work webpages and in accordance with this Agreement. Any other use of just.work contrary to our mission and purpose is strictly prohibited and a violation of this Agreement. We reserve all rights not expressly granted in this Agreement, including, without limitation, title, ownership, intellectual property rights, and all other rights and interests in just.work and all related items, including any and all copies made of the just.work website.

Our Rights and Obligations

Services Availability

We may change or discontinue Services, and in such case, we do not promise to keep showing or storing your information and materials. For as long as just.work continues to offer the Services, just.work shall provide and seek to update, improve and expand the Services. As a result, we allow you to access just.work as it may exist and be available on any given day and we have no other obligations, except as expressly stated in this Agreement. We may modify, replace, refuse access to, suspend or discontinue just.work, partially or entirely, for all or part of the Services for you or for all our Members in our sole discretion. All of these changes shall be effective upon their posting on just.work or by direct communication to you unless otherwise noted. just.work reserves the right to withhold, remove or discard any content available as part of your account, with or without notice if deemed by just.work to be contrary to this Agreement. For avoidance of doubt, just.work has no obligation to store, maintain or provide you a copy of any content that you or other Members provide when using the Services.

Disclosure of User Information

You agree that we can use, store, and share information about you as permitted in our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge, consent and agree that we may access, preserve, and disclose your registration and any other information you provide in accordance with the terms of the Privacy Policy if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such access preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary in our opinion to: (1) comply with legal process, including, but not limited to, civil and criminal subpoenas, court orders or other compulsory disclosures; (2) enforce this Agreement; (3) respond to claims of a violation of the rights of third parties, whether or not the third party is a Member, individual, or government agency; (4) respond to customer service inquiries; or (5) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of just.work, our Members or the public. Disclosures of Member information to third parties other than those required to provide customer support, administer this agreement, or comply with legal requirements are addressed in the Privacy Policy.

Connections and Interactions with other Members

We have the right to limit the connections and interactions on the Service. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other Members. just.work may limit the number of connections you may have to other Members and may, in certain circumstances, prohibit you from contacting other Users through use of the Services or otherwise limit your use of the Services. just.work reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other members and to restrict, suspend, or close your account if just.work determines, in our sole discretion, that doing so is necessary to enforce this Agreement.

Intellectual Property Notices

The Service includes the copyrights and Intellectual property rights of just.work and except for the limited license granted to you in Section 3, just.work reserves all of its intellectual property rights in the Service. just.work, the just.work logos and other just.work trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used in connection with just.work are trademarks in the U.S. and/or other countries. Other trademarks and logos used in connection with just.work may be the trademarks of their respective owners. This Agreement does not grant you any right or license with respect to any such trademarks and logos.
